July in London14:32
That I love London I think you know! I love that city! It makes me feel different and so well, I do not care that is grey, rainy or cold because the city has many things to offer!
I visited my sister for a week, which happens to me too fast ...but I had time to do many things!
Every time I go to London, I try to do different things each time, yes, I always go to my Piccadilly and Oxford Street, I could be pass all day there walking up and down! I love it! I think I know by heart every corner of them.
This time, I repeated plan: return to the Tower of London,I did not return there for 6 years (to this I've been 3 times) but my boyfriend haven´t been there and I think it is a must visit in London.
Of course, a day or two, I could not miss the sales, Regent Street and Oxford up and down all day and to recover we went to my favorite bar in London, the GEM, I love that place! When I lived there, I was there almost every weekend.
It is also a place to go every day because for 17 to 20 hours it has happy hour of drink & food. It has two floors. The bottom one is used more on weekends and the top floor has many tables where have a drink and listen definitely the best music ever! I wish in Madrid exists a bar similar and with that kind of music.
I was also visiting Covent Garden and I liked seeing that there was an exhibition throughout the city with different models of the English cabins (as in Spain, the bulls exhibition, which was in many Spanish cities) There were some really strange and beautify cabinetsl!
I could not miss the walk in SOHO, a neighborhood that has a special charm and the best restaurants and plenty of boutiques that you can not find anywhere else. It reminds me to Chueca in Madrid, but I have say that the SOHO is special.
I could not miss a walk in Katherine Docklands neither. It is a piece of peace in the middle of the bustle of London and a hidden corner where it seems that you're not in London.
Finally, a must visit as every time I go to London is HMV. It is a music store, movies & video games. The prices are very very good. You find a lot of movies for 3 and 7 pounds or special offers from 3 movies for 10 pounds and the tv shows are more cheaper than in Spain. So between my boyfriend and I went out with almost 30 movies. Of course, refrain from buying those person who do not speak English because as you know our English friends never have subtitles in Spanish in their films.
I cant wait to go back ..... I hope to go a few days before Christmas, because it is the most beautiful season to go to London with all the Christmas lights!
